SÉKÉ Salon Case Study
SÉKÉ Styling Salon by Vanessa is a luxury mobile appointment scheduling app designed for modern salon clients who want a fast, elegant, and stress-free booking experience.
The app allows users to browse services, select appointment times, complete payments, and manage upcoming bookings - all within a clean and premium mobile interface available in both light and dark mode.
This concept was designed to combine beauty, simplicity, and functionality into a seamless mobile experience tailored for high-end salon services.
Problem: Many salon booking experiences can feel cluttered, overwhelming, or are difficult to navigate on mobile devices. There can be too many steps, unclear service pricing, confusing calendar systems, poor mobile responsiveness and inconsistent branding.
The Goal: Create a luxury salon booking experience optimized for mobile users. Also to simplify the appointment scheduling process, reduce booking friction into a streamlined flow, and build trust through clear appointment confirmations and payment transparency with both light mode and dark mode accessibility options.
Target Users: All ages. They need simplicity - fewer booking steps, clear pricing, simplified calendars, and minimal distractions.
User Flow
The booking experience was intentionally designed to feel quick and intuitive.

Each screen was designed to keep users focused on a single action at a time.
The visual identity combines luxury salon aesthetics with modern mobile minimalism.
The yellow accent color acts as a focal point for buttons, active states, calendar selections, icons and progress indicators.
The bold typography was used to improve readability, strengthen visual hierarchy, and reinforce premium branding. Spacing and sizing were carefully balanced to maintain a clean and uncluttered interface.
Light & Dark Mode Designs
A full dark mode version was designed alongside the light mode experience to provide flexibility and accessibility for users.
The light mode interface creates: A clean and airy salon experience, high readability, and soft luxury aesthetics.
The dark mode interface creates: A modern premium feel, reduced eye strain, strong contrast with yellow highlights, and a sleek luxury brand appearance.
Both modes maintain identical layouts for consistency while adapting colors for usability and visual comfort.
Service Selection: Users can browse categorized salon services on expandable service cards with pricing, service descriptions, and appointment durations.
Interactive Scheduling - The scheduling system allows users to only select available dates and time slots, which makes it easier to view appointment availability. The calendar was designed to feel lightweight and easy to scan.
Booking Summary and Payment - Before checkout, users can review their selected service, stylist information, date and time, total pricing, and payment method. This improves confidence before payment confirmation.
The payment screen was designed to feel quick, secure, familiar and minimal. Large CTA buttons with simplified payment information reduce friction during checkout.
Confirmation Page - Confirms the appointment with clear information of date, time, stylist and location. The add-to-calendar button helps with quick input to their personal calendar for reminders. The other buttons help the user easily decide what they would like to do next.
Appointment Management - Users can view upcoming appointments, review completed bookings, cancel appointments and reschedule services. The dashboard design keeps appointment information organized and accessible.
This concept was designed to elevate the salon booking experience through clean UI, thoughtful UX, and luxury-focused branding. It delivers a seamless mobile experience that makes appointment scheduling feel simple, modern, and visually refined.
